Jack & Marian are the Managers for “Bungalows Itzel” and live here year round. We manage the Bungalows during the “snowbird season” but vacation during the “vacation season” of July and August when Mexican schools are out and Melaque becomes THE DESTINATION for holidays at the beach for Many Mexicans. Patti and Andreas manage Bungalows Itzel y Hotel during those two months as a HOTEL as our Spanish is limited and prices become based on number of people in each Bungalow.
We are English speaking Canadians , and discovered this area many years ago. Raised in Sask. ,and moved to B.C. in mid 1975. Jack was a full time Paramedic with BCAS and Marian worked in Post offices for Canada Post. We have explored much of Mexico and decided we liked this area best. Two week vacations changed to 1 month and then 3 months and then 5 months and finally with retirement,,,, ,permanent residency here. We really enjoy the challenge of managing the Bungalows, the Spanish language, the laid back lifestyle, and most of all,,,, visiting with our many “snow bird “ friends ,many at “ITZEL” and many close by .
